BERT'S CORNER by Bertrand Levesque

4-28-2010 Membership forms have been mailed.  Some are coming back undeliverable so if you have not received one, please go onto our website and print out a form.  Also, many of you claim you do not have an ATV of Maine sticker-please take the time to look on your machine for a big white sticker with red trim with green state of Maine and 4wheeler in center. That sticker is not dated and is good as long as you have a 2010 Valley ATV Riders sticker near it!

Trails have been posted for mud season-set to open May 15th, 2010 so please stay off trails until then.  We already have a problem with pickup trucks causing havoc by passing on atv trails so please let's cooperate so we can keep all trails open and be able to ride when it is time.  Membership forms for 2010 available on website:  valleyatvriders.com  Thank you

A BIG THANK YOU to all Landowners who allow us the privilege of riding on their land.  It's greatly appreciated.

When Trails Open:  Please STAY ON MARKED TRAIL!  RIDING ON LANDOWNER'S PROPERTY IS A PRIVILEGE, NOT A RIGHT!

Tell anyone who wants to become a member that applications are available online at www.valleyatvriders.com   Display your Valley ATV Riders sticker on the front of your machine if possible and remind anyone who is not a member that belonging to a local club which is a member of ATV of Maine is necessary to ride on Irving land.

P.S.   Membership dues at $25 for single/$35 family-must be in same household-3 maximum/$10 for associate members ( an associate member is one who already belongs to another club but would like to support VATV Riders) .  Your membership is very important to us and to you-you cannot ride Irving land without proof of membership to an ATV club and an ATV of Maine sticker.  Again thanks for your support in 2009!! Remember-YOU CAN GET A COPY OF THE MEMBERSHIP FORM FOR 2010 ON THE WEBSITE-valleyatvriders.com-PASS THE WORD!!   Bert
